🚲 Bike Buddies: The Smarter Way To School 🏫

We’re proud to share Bike Buddies, our capstone project at BYU — an app and management platform that helps schools and families organize bike buses: safe, chaperoned bike groups that get kids to and from school together 🚦👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

With Bike Buddies, parents and schools can:

📍 Join or start a bike bus

🗺️ Plan and map out your route

📆 Schedule rides and assign chaperones

📲 Get real-time updates

We built it using:

⚛️ React + Next.JS - Web app

🪶 Swift – iOS app

🐘 Postgres – hosted on AWS RDS

⚙️ AWS Lambda + Express.js – via API Gateway

🚀 Terraform + GitHub Actions – for CI/CD and infra as code
